The Chivu Era Begins

Cristian Chivu steps into one of the biggest dugouts in Europe after leading Inter to the 2025-26 title as part of the coaching staff. His brief is simple: keep the winning machine moving. He inherits a squad that conceded the fewest goals in Serie A and finished with 87 points, 11 clear of Napoli. The Romanian is expected to keep the 3-5-2 spine but add more ball progression through the new midfield arrivals.

Summer Window: Jones, Spence and Akanji

Inter spent €101M for the first time in six seasons. Curtis Jones arrived from Liverpool for €30M plus add-ons and a 10% sell-on clause, while Djed Spence adds pace at wing-back for €30M.
